We know that Puebla has been doing amazing in terms of the automotive sector progress, this with the new Audi plant, the increment in demand of VW cars and VW investments; just yesterday we had great news regarding VW and its car 10 millionth, that we cannot avoid but to talk about the development of this industry, in its majority German, that has settled in Mexico with Puebla as one of its strongest locations.
The automotive sector of the State will grow about 50% in the next five years due to the arrival of Audi, the installation of new supplier companies and the new investments. This also signifies very important news for economy and employment, since currently, the personnel occupied by the automotive industry in Puebla ascends to 36,000 employees, a number that could be doubled with the upcoming additions and investments.
It´s only logical that Puebla is really proud of this results, and now, it has another thing to brag about: the Audi and Volkswagen companies decided to set up their plants in Puebla because in this state, they found the best conditions in the world, said Secretary of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS), Alfonso Navarrete Prida, who endorsed the Federation’s commitment to continue supporting the state of Puebla and its government.
This was declared during a signing involving Governor Rafael Moreno Valle Rosas for an agreement formalizing coordination of employment and providing support to beneficiaries of the employment support, an event that took place at the Exhibitor and Convention Center.
Now, we can only wait for what is to come, but with this excellent results already showing even though Audi has not yet began official operations and with VW´s experience, we expect only more of these.
